Episode 2 – AlterTricks Origin & Design Patterns

In this episode Chris and Joshua talk about Design Patterns and why they are important for users to learn, as they make the data transformation:

1. Effective – the design pattern will work for 20 to 20M records
2. Efficient – the transformation is optimal
3. Reliable – the design pattern works and scales when the data changes, for example new fields are added and the treatment is expected

And the origin for our new blog, to help users getting from beginner user and getting over the ‘learning hump’ to become more fluent with Alteryx.
